Almost a year has passed since the release of Asgard’s Wrath 2, and now we find ourselves diving into Loki’s lingering impact with its final Cosmic Event.
Launched last December by Sanzaru Games, this VR action RPG has kept players on their toes with ongoing updates, introducing Cosmic Events. These limited-time challenges, known as Cosmic Objectives, have been quite the adventure. From battling a vampiric plague and exploring the multiverse to defending against Surtur’s forces, the grand finale event, “The Trickster’s Legacy,” is all about taking on Loki one last time.
Your mission this time around involves fixing these warped realities. Expect to navigate through mysterious ‘?’ doors scattered across the Uncharted Rifts, brave trap-infested rooms, conquer five divine trials in a single Rift run, and eliminate the Loki Anomalies pervading the overworld. Upon completing these challenges, you’ll be rewarded with the coveted Staff of the Trickster. Plus, you’ll snag replicas of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, along with some exclusive emotes, badges, and titles.
Though this is the curtain call for new events, don’t think Cosmic Events are disappearing entirely. Sanzaru Games has announced plans to rerun them all, starting with Into the Multiverse. This offers a fantastic opportunity to nab any missed event-specific rewards.
In addition, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is introducing a fresh outfit that doesn’t come with a ticking clock like the other rewards from “The Trickster’s Legacy.” Specifically for Meta Quest+ subscribers, this new gear is a dinosaur-inspired armor from the island of Laramidia, complete with an accompanying stone blade weapon.
For those eager to dive in or continue their journey, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is readily available on the Meta Quest platform.
