In the six-month period ending September 30, 2024, Nintendo sold 4.72 million Switch consoles. While this marks a 31% decrease from the previous year, the company underscored that the sales remain strong compared to their previous platforms at this stage in their lifecycle.

Following closely, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has hit 46.45 million, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is at 35.14 million. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild isn’t far behind with 32.29 million, and Super Mario Odyssey has reached 28.50 million copies. On the Pokémon front, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield have sold 26.44 million copies.
Additionally, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet have achieved 25.69 million in sales, with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom close by at 21.04 million. Super Mario Party has delighted 20.98 million owners, and lastly, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has sold a notable 17.77 million copies.
