A well-loved engineering puzzle game is making its debut on the Quest this week, offering a host of bridge-building challenges that you can tackle in both virtual and mixed reality on the Quest platform.
Originally set to launch last week, Bridge Constructor Studio was expected to bring its comprehensive bridge-building simulation to VR and provide users the opportunity to design, test, and tweak their creations in mixed reality with the Quest 3. It’s a bit tardy, but better late than never!
Coming out on December 12th, Bridge Constructor Studio presents you with 70 intriguing puzzles in its campaign mode. You’ll be tasked with delivering an array of vehicles from one point to another. To accomplish this, you have an arsenal of construction materials at your disposal, like wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways.
Unlike its traditional flat-screen versions, or the likes of its main rival, Poly Bridge, this XR edition doesn’t impose budget or material limits by default. But don’t worry, you can activate these constraints if you’re up for a “special award,” according to the developers.
Aside from the campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio also offers a Scenario Creation Mode. This tool lets you design and test your own bridge-building challenges, and you can save up to 40 custom levels in your player profile.
Developed by ClockStone STUDIO, the same minds behind both the flat-screen and XR versions of LEGO Bricktales (2023) and the traditional Bridge Constructor games since they first launched back in 2011, this game promises a solid experience.
With a price tag of $10, this engaging game will be available on December 12th, exclusively for Quest 2 and 3 users. You can grab it from the Horizon Store right here.
