Complete Edition of ‘Attack on Titan VR’ Released, Featuring New Chapters and Co-op Mode

Back in July, the Early Access release of “Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable” on the Quest platform was quite the event. At launch, players could explore a single mission, try out a handful of unlockable blades, and dive into the promise of more content trickling out over the following months. Fast forward a few months, and developer UNIVRS has now rolled out the ‘Complete Edition,’ which has expanded to feature four comprehensive chapters.

When I first got to test it out in July, the game left an impression of being more of a tech demo than a full-fledged experience. Sure, it offered a decent slice of its central gameplay, but it was limited to only one chapter alongside an endless wave mode, complete with the requisite scoreboards.

Now, with the Complete Edition up for grabs, players can dive back in and immerse themselves in chapters three and four, check out the gripping Epilogue, and take on the formidable Armored Titan in a boss battle showdown.

What’s really exciting is the introduction of co-op mode, meaning for the first time, you can team up with a friend to tackle all the chapters together.

In tandem with the full game release, UNIVRS has dropped hints about a ‘Thunder Spear Unlock Event’ scheduled for January, which they’re billing as a “global challenge.” An additional free update, poised for 2025, is also on their agenda, as mentioned on the game’s official website.

Despite our initial assessment earlier this year—where we described it as a bit “rough around the edges”—the game seems to have struck a chord with its audience. As of now, “Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable” stands strong with a commendable 4.5 out of 5 user rating on the Horizon Store.

If you’re among those who bought the Early Access version, you’ll be pleased to know that Part 2 is available as a complimentary download. Newcomers diving in for the first time can purchase Part 1 for $8, Part 2 for $12 (provided you have Part 1), or opt for the bundle that includes both parts at $20. The game is compatible with Quest 2, Quest 3/S, and Quest Pro, offering a broad spectrum of accessibility for virtual reality enthusiasts.
