DodgeCraft is throwing players into the virtual arena, challenging their reflexes with a fresh VR sports training experience. Now available on Quest and PlayStation VR2, this is an exciting development from INCISIV Ltd, a game studio based in Belfast. Known previously for CleanSheet Soccer, INCISIV is now blending high-energy action with strategic deception to test your agility and tackle skills. Check out how this plays out in the preview below.
The game offers two unique modes to dive into. First up is ‘Dodge’Em,’ which demands full-body movement as you dodge a barrage of meteorites in an asteroid belt, weaving and ducking to stay in one piece. Then, in ‘Run the Gauntlet,’ you’re up against waves of bots and humanoids that attempt to outmaneuver you with cunning tricks. Plus, there’s mixed reality support to enhance your immersion.
INCISIV’s CEO, Professor Cathy Craig, shared in a statement that the inspiration for DodgeCraft comes from her own challenges in sports. Reflecting on her past as an Ulster Rugby out-half, she revealed the struggle of committing to tackles on the field.
“As a player, I often hesitated and avoided making tackles,” she explained. “DodgeCraft offers an excellent opportunity to learn how to anticipate and decisively defend without worrying about injury. Essentially, it lets you train without the associated pain!”
Available now on both the Meta Quest platform and PlayStation VR2, DodgeCraft is here to sharpen your defensive skills and push your reflexes to their limits.
