Last week, the excitement for Monster Hunter Wilds was palpable as it became the third most pre-ordered game on Steam. With its release slated for February 28th, fans of Capcom’s iconic action RPG series are clearly eager to get their hands on this latest adventure. Back in 2019, when Monster Hunter Worlds made its splash, Capcom noted that PC sales were especially strong, marking it as the second best-performing platform for the series.
Interestingly, both Counter-Strike 2 and Civilization 7 climbed the ranks, securing the top two spots. Civilization 7, which launched on February 10th, initially entered the charts at number three, but early data didn’t fully capture its robust performance at the time. Meanwhile, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 slipped to fourth, even as it reached the impressive milestone of two million sales. Apex Legends saw a significant jump, climbing 22 spots to land at number five, thanks to a fresh season of content that clearly resonated with players.
The rankings shifted somewhat for other titles. Valve’s Steam Deck, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and Marvel Rivals each dropped by one position, settling into sixth, seventh, and eighth places respectively. Meanwhile, Obsidian’s new RPG, Avowed, made its debut in ninth place, and Warframe re-entered the Top Ten, moving up two spots.
To wrap things up, here’s a look at Steam’s Top Ten for the week ending February 18th:
1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
