The gaming world is buzzing as Call of Duty kicks off its latest Double XP event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, starting February 6. Players keen on maximizing their experience points have until February 10 to dive in and take full advantage of this bonus period.
Double XP events have become a staple across the Call of Duty franchise, offering dedicated players frequent opportunities to boost their progress. This particular promotion launched alongside the start of Black Ops 6 Season 2 in late January 2025. However, to the surprise of many, it wrapped up sooner than expected without any advance notice.
In an exciting twist, this week’s Double XP event also coincides with a free trial offer for select Black Ops 6 multiplayer modes and maps. Players can enjoy free access to popular modes such as Nuketown 24/7, Stakeout 24/7, and others like Gunfight, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Domination. It’s a great chance for both newcomers and veterans to explore these maps and hone their skills. In Zombies mode, The Tomb (Standard) and Liberty Falls (Standard + Directed Mode) are up for grabs. This coordinated timing doesn’t always align, but this fortunate overlap lasts until February 10.
As if that weren’t enough, February 6 introduces another fresh event for fans: a Terminator-themed crossover in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Players can collect Skulls through gameplay, which can be redeemed for a variety of digital goodies. With over a dozen items available, fans can unlock cool rewards like the Scanning emblem, Reactive Armor perk, War Machine Scorestreak, and the Ocular System weapon charm. Though there’s also a Double Weapon XP Token on offer, its use will have to wait until the current Double XP event wraps up. The Terminator-themed event will run until February 20.
Looking ahead, on February 13, gamers can gear up for the Shadow Hunt promo. This new promotion lets players earn up to seven unique rewards, including the TR2 Marksman Rifle and Tanto .22 Binary Trigger Fire Mod by tackling various challenges in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The anticipation for Shadow Hunt sets the stage for an action-packed February in the Call of Duty universe, keeping gamers engaged and excited for what’s next.
