RuneScape: Dragonwilds made quite a splash last week, becoming the second highest-grossing game on Steam. Released on April 15th, this latest offering from Jagex has been well-received, boasting a peak of 52,641 concurrent users, as shown by SteamDB statistics. It’s not often we see a fresh title from Jagex, and Dragonwilds is proving to be a hit.
Yet, it was Counter-Strike 2 that held onto the top spot for Steam’s biggest earner of the week. RuneScape: Dragonwilds’ impressive debut nudged Schedule 1 down to third place, while the popular Steam Deck secured fourth once again.
In an interesting development, Last Epoch, an action RPG, soared back into the Top Ten at fifth place. This leap—up 76 spots from the previous week—was fueled by the launch of its second content season. Meanwhile, the co-op horror game, REPO, maintained a steady presence at sixth.
Marvel Rivals didn’t fare as well, slipping four positions to settle at seventh. On the other hand, Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian gained a bit of traction, climbing one spot due to a continuing discount on Steam.
Rounding out the top entries, Tempest Rising, inspired by Command and Conquer, made its debut in tenth place despite some launch-day technical challenges.

1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
