Expect it to kick off at 1 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. GMT), although, hint hint, there’s a good chance it might roll out earlier based on recent patterns. But rest assured, it won’t be any later than expected.
For those who revel in the adrenaline rush of Stakeout, rejoice! This chaotic, hyper-intense map is making a comeback and is sure to deliver the non-stop action it’s famous for. Initially, I wasn’t fond of it, but over time, it grew on me. It’s complete mayhem: a non-stop, exhilarating experience where pausing, even for a second, could be your undoing.
Fans were understandably upset when the Stakeout 24/7 playlist was previously removed, but Treyarch has proven to be attentive to their audience’s desires. In tandem with the celebratory 2XP event and the Prop Hunt debut, both Stakeout 24/7 and the Hardcore version are set to make their grand return.
Typically, these playlist updates occur around 1 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. GMT), but don’t be surprised if it drops a bit sooner, just as it has in prior weeks.
As you dive in, you’ll cycle through various game modes available on Stakeout, including Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Kill Order, and Domination.
If you’re aiming to grind your way through camos, Stakeout is the ideal battlefield. The compact size and rapid matches make it perfect for ticking off those camo challenges, especially when you’re aiming for gold and beyond, where the tasks become more complex than just nabbing headshots.
Take, for example, the gold camo challenge. Securing 10 double kills with a weapon is a task tailor-made for Stakeout’s intense setting. Moving up to diamond involves racking up three kills without dying ten times, and once you familiarize yourself with Stakeout’s layout, you’ll find this challenge can be conquered with surprising speed.
I’ll admit, I’ve been a bit sluggish in tackling those camo challenges myself. But during this upcoming playlist event, you can bet you’ll find me entrenched in Stakeout, diligently working to check off as many challenges as possible.
