Cattle Call is taking the reins as the developer for the highly anticipated Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster, which is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Cattle Call’s recent projects include notable titles like The Legend of Legacy, The Alliance Alive, Metal Max Xeno, and Dungeon Encounters, showcasing their versatility and experience in the RPG genre.
The beloved RPG unfolds in Luxendarc, a realm safeguarded by four elemental crystals. These crystals have been the cornerstone of peace and balance. However, chaos erupts when a dark force emerges from the Great Chasm, prompting the Warriors of Light to embark on a heroic mission to avert disaster.
Players will follow the journeys of Agnès Oblige, the Wind Crystal’s vestal; Tiz Arrior, a humble shepherd and the lone survivor of his hometown’s downfall; Edea Lee, the sole daughter of the grand marshal from the Duchy of Eternia; Ringabel, a young man grappling with amnesia and in possession of a prophetic journal; and Airy, a cryst-fairy. Their quest is to rekindle the light within the crystals and restore world peace.
Packed with memorable storytelling, a cast of iconic characters crafted by Akihiko Yoshida (known for his work on Final Fantasy Tactics and NieR:Automata), and a soaring soundtrack by Revo, the HD remaster introduces enhanced graphics and brand-new content. Square Enix promises this experience will captivate both long-time fans and newcomers to Luxendarc’s enchanting narrative.
