## Enter the Elegant Yet Menacing Mizutsune
### [Image of Mizutsune]
Mizutsune is back, and this creature is a sight to behold—part dazzling, part dangerous. It glides almost like it’s performing an intricate dance, launching attacks with its signature crippling bubbles. Gear up to face this returning adversary in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Along with Mizutsune, you can expect to craft some sleek new armor sets for both your hunter and Palico companions. And if you’ve reached the dizzying heights of an eight-star Tempered Mizutsune, brace yourself even more. To embark on the Mizutsune hunt, head over to Kanya in the Scarlet Forest Base Camp, but only if your Hunter Rank is 21 or higher.
## The Arrival of Arch-tempered Rey Dau in an Event Quest
### [Image of Arch-tempered Rey Dau]
Previously, Tempered monsters were the apex predators in Monster Hunter Wilds. That’s about to change with the first Free Title Update. Now, an even fiercer Arch-tempered monster, Rey Dau, is gearing up to challenge your skills. Make sure you’re at HR 50 or above when it makes its dramatic entrance in an Event Quest on Tuesday, April 30.

Triumph in this quest and you’ll be able to forge the brand-new Rey Dau γ (gamma) and Felyne Rey Dau γ (gamma) armor sets. Better start sharpening those skills and upgrading your gear now to prepare for what’s coming.
## Get Ready to Take on Zoh Shia Once More
### [Image of Zoh Shia]
Zoh Shia returns for another round of High Rank battles as part of this Free Title Update. Previously, you only had one shot at Zoh Shia during the main story, but now, you can challenge it repeatedly. Make sure you’re ready when the new mission unlocks for hunters who are HR 50 and above, starting April 4.
You’ll find the quest in the Environment Overview. Sometimes, Zoh Shia will also make a surprise appearance and become a quest at the Wyvern’s Wakening spot in the Ruins of Wyveria.

And, naturally, the spoils from defeating Zoh Shia can be used to craft some impressive new High Rank gear for both hunters and their Palico partners.
## A New Gathering Space: The Grand Hub
### [Image of The Grand Hub]
Welcome to the Grand Hub, a vibrant new social environment where hunters can mingle, share stories, and dive into unique activities. Historically, this location has been a place of devotion for the inhabitants of Suja. Occasionally, if you listen closely, you might even catch the Diva singing in reverence.
For a bit of fun and competition, why not try your hand at the new Barrel Bowling mini-game available at the Grand Hub? Roll barrel bombs to hit targets, and based on your accuracy, win useful items and pendants. You’ll need Barrel Bowling Vouchers to play, which can be collected, among other ways, as login bonuses.
The Grand Hub is also where Felynes whip up mouthwatering meals for the hunters. It’s a great place to enjoy tasty food and engage with other players around the table. To access Grand Hub, ensure you’ve reached HR 16, then talk to Tetsuzan in Suja, atop the Peaks of Accord.
Once unlocked, the Squad Information Counter will transition from the Windward Plains Base Camp to the Grand Hub, simplifying squad management.
## Compete for Speed in the Arena
### [Arena Image]
Arena Quests are back in Monster Hunter Wilds, where you and another hunter can rush against the clock to complete a quest with designated equipment. Check how your completion times rank globally on the Expedition Record Board.
## Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests
### [Images of Challenge Quests]
Get ready to dive into limited-time Event Quests where pendants are up for grabs as rewards. Everyone gets a pendant after participating, but some come as special prizes based on your time and global rank. Just like Arena Quests, Challenge Quests come with predetermined gear and allow two hunters. Free Challenge Quests, a new addition to Monster Hunter Wilds, allow up to four players without gear restrictions. Plus, you can battle alongside Support Hunters in both quest types.
## Switch Up Alma’s Look
You can now switch up Alma’s style by changing her outfit through the Appearance Menu at camp. Complete certain side missions to swap her glasses as well. Don’t miss trying the free outfit for Alma!
## Downloadable Content Galore

After Free Title Update 1, a new outfit for Alma, along with classic gestures from the Monster Hunter series, will be free to download at the PlayStation Store.
Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will be available for purchase when Free Title Update 1 launches, providing even more customization options for those who have the Cosmetic DLC Pass included in the Premium Deluxe Edition or bought separately.

Between April 23 and May 7, join us at the Grand Hub for the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance. Expect to see the place decorated in seasonal flair, enjoy themed food, and score exclusive equipment, gestures, and camp decorations.
And that’s a wrap for the major additions in this first Free Title Update. Besides the fun new content, expect some bug fixes and game adjustments. There’s also another update scheduled for May, featuring a surprise collaboration with another game from Capcom and tons more features.
Keep an eye out for Free Title Update 2 this summer. Until then, here’s a little teaser of what’s to come. Happy hunting, everyone!
