Nintendo Releases – April 10, 2025 – Updates

After a week that felt like pure chaos, we’ve returned to what has unfortunately become the norm for the original Switch.

In case you missed it last week, Namco’s Assault Plus made its way into the Archives.

Reflecting on last week, it can be summed up simply: "OK, so THAT happened." From the hype of the Switch 2 Direct to the aftermath stirred up by 20500, it was quite a ride. Now, we’re back to a rather tame lineup of releases on the eShop. Still, there are a few titles worth checking out this week. Notably, Star Overdrive, which is all about hovercraft racing, was highlighted in a previous Direct. It’s hard to believe that was just over a week ago, feels like ages in gaming time! Additionally, Battlefield Waltz, localized by IFI (Idea Factory/Otomate), hits the shelves, though it’s wise to wait and see if any first-day patches are needed—I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out.

Other releases that might catch your interest include "Promise Mascot Agency", another installment in the Snow Bros. saga, and a basic maze game titled EggConsole from 1983. For those outside Japan, Pyramid Warp seems like a solid pick.
