In a thrilling update for fans of virtual reality, you can now tackle the legendary Mount Olympus course in Walkabout Mini Golf. This impressive addition marks the game’s 32nd course, following the release of the Viva Las Elvis course back in January. According to Lucas Martell, the head of the studio, this course is significantly larger than last year’s expansive Temple At Zerzura.
The official description paints a vivid picture:
High above the Aegean Sea rests the mythical domain of ancient gods and goddesses. It’s here, among the celestial heights, that the Olympians assemble to settle the destinies of mortals via a thrilling miniature golf odyssey. Navigate your way through complex temples, enchanted landscapes, and formidable obstacles. However, tread carefully—your golfing prowess will soon be scrutinized by the formidable Olympian Council, determining if you are fit for triumph or fated to incur the gods’ displeasure!
As you ascend Mount Olympus, you will discover temples and offerings adorned with the emblems of the major Greek deities such as Zeus, Apollo, and Artemis. Our exclusive behind-the-scenes tour with Walkabout creator Lucas Martell is our lengthiest yet, offering 28 minutes rich with fascinating insights.

Additionally, I had the chance to sit down with Mighty Coconut’s senior art director, Don Carson, for a detailed conversation about the design evolution of the game. He shared their commitment to exceed expectations through a multi-layered design approach that unfolds over a year, with teams collaboratively rotating through the courses. The team at Mighty Coconut, affectionately known as the Coconuts, has grown to dozens of talented individuals today.
With the unprecedented success witnessed with the Elvis course, which boasted the highest single sales day in Walkabout’s nearly five-year history, the question remains: will players return to the virtual greens of Mount Olympus and perpetuate this trend of increased sales?
Walkabout is accessible on all major VR headsets as well as iOS, ensuring that wherever you are, you can embark on this Olympian adventure.
