What’s happening on the Nintendo Switch eShop this week? As we count down to the launch of the eagerly awaited Switch 2—now just around seven weeks away—a fresh batch of games is making its way to the Switch, keeping enthusiasts buzzed. Topping this week’s releases is the action-adventure game, Star Overdrive.
In Star Overdrive, you embark on an intergalactic journey on a hoverboard, navigating through an alien world filled with puzzles and enemies. This exciting title comes from a small yet talented team of 12 developers known as Caracal Games. Though this isn’t their first eShop release, it marks their debut in being showcased in a Nintendo Direct. Published by Plug In Digital, who previously brought us the intriguing game Mindcop, Star Overdrive combines high-octane action with platforming and third-person gameplay, making it a game worth keeping an eye on.
Fans of Nintendo Music have something to look forward to as well, with the addition of the Luigi’s Mansion soundtrack to the collection. Meanwhile, a variety of games are on sale, including popular titles like Mario + Rabbids and South Park.
For those eager to dive into the new offerings, I’ve listed all the fresh additions below. So, what will you be playing this weekend?
