This week’s Xbox gameplay chart has maintained its top spots, with the first five (or specifically six) games staying put. However, Far Cry New Dawn has seen a surge in player interest, thanks to its return to Game Pass. As we anticipate a wave of new titles soon hitting Game Pass, it’s likely that the top 40 might see some fresh faces jostling for attention.
Sniper Elite: Resistance is enjoying a good run following its recent Game Pass release, moving up to seventh place. If you’re undecided about playing it, Sean’s review gives it a hearty endorsement. Meanwhile, Halo Infinite has made a significant jump, climbing from 23rd to 17th post-update.
Far Cry New Dawn has returned to the top 40, coming in at 19th position after reappearing on Game Pass last week. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, though a fantastic game, has slipped from 18th to 22nd, likely due to the influx of major titles heading to Game Pass soon, making it tricky to keep up.
A few weeks back, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black soared in the charts with its surprise Xbox release but has since tumbled from 11th to 24th. Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, another recent addition to Game Pass, has also seen a drop, down to 31st.
Two games making a return this week are Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II at 33rd and No Man’s Sky at 36th. Both have had major updates, no doubt luring players back. Meanwhile, Eternal Strands, a recent day-one Game Pass title, has fallen from 19th to 38th. Rounding out the list is Hell Let Loose at 40th.
Despite its anticipation, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II hasn’t cracked the top 40 yet. As a highly awaited sequel that isn’t on Game Pass, players might be waiting until they have the time to dive into this substantial RPG. For those just beginning their medieval journey, we offer 5 handy tips for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, along with a guide on acquiring your trusty steed, Pebbles.
