Devs United Games, the creators of the widely enjoyed Real VR Fishing, are gearing up to launch this captivating VR fishing experience for PC VR headsets next month. This highly anticipated release is set to arrive on SteamVR headsets at the beginning of December, and fans of the Quest version will find familiar elements here, with the same pricing strategy and gameplay. Excitingly, all the downloadable content—like the US West Coast, US East Coast, and both parts of the Japan DLC—will be accessible on Steam from the get-go.
The heart of the game offers an impressive selection of 40 fishing locations and more than 150 different species of fish. The individual DLCs expand the adventure significantly, boasting an incredible 95 additional fishing spots and over 300 new species to discover and catch.
While Real VR Fishing supports both solo play and four-player multiplayer on the Quest, the developers have clarified to Road to VR that the upcoming Steam version won’t support cross-play multiplayer between Quest, Pico, and PC VR platforms. Additionally, the Steam version promises some exciting features: built-in YouTube and web browsing, monthly updates to keep things fresh, and the ability to customize your aquarium.
First launched on the Quest in late 2019, Real VR Fishing has captured the interest of many, quickly becoming the platform’s most beloved fishing game. With a solid user rating of 4.6 out of 5 from over 7,200 players, its success speaks volumes.
Those eager to dive into this immersive fishing experience can add Real VR Fishing to their Steam wishlist now in preparation for its early December debut.
