As February draws near, Xbox players are getting ready to face a wave of server shutdowns. To help you stay ahead in your quest for achievements, we’ve compiled a list of the games set to lose online support next February.
Planned Xbox Server Closures for February 2025:
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Here’s an in-depth look at each of these games and the impact the server shutdowns will have:
Divine Knockout
Back in October, Hi-Rez Studios announced some shifts in their focus, including layoffs and a strategic pivot towards Smite 2. This decision spells the end for Divine Knockout and Realm Royale Reforged, with both servers going offline on February 17, 2025. Divine Knockout players will see 19 achievements vanish, so if you’re aiming for that coveted 1,000G, you might want to carve out about eight hours to complete it.
Realm Royale Reforged
Realm Royale Reforged is another casualty of Hi-Rez Studios’ restructuring. After February 17, 2025, its 20 achievements will no longer be available. To earn your 1,000G in this battle royale adventure, you’re looking at investing around 15 hours. If you need pointers, our Realm Royale Reforged walkthrough can be your guide.
EA Sports UFC 3
After serving players for over five years, EA will shut down EA Sports UFC 3’s online services on February 17, 2025. You’ll lose access to 15 achievements once the servers go, and unlocking some of these might demand a significant time commitment. While it’s no longer available in the Microsoft Store, Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers can still experience this MMA title.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
The multiplayer world of Hood: Outlaws and Legends will go dark on February 18, 2025. Since it’s a purely online experience, all of its 50 achievements will become inaccessible. Aspiring completionists should plan for about 80 hours of gameplay before the shutdown. Sadly, it’s been removed from the Microsoft Store and only released digitally, so current owners are the only ones who can still play it.
Dark Alliance
The servers for Dark Alliance will shut on February 24, 2025, rendering four online-only achievements obsolete. Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast have announced that the action-RPG will also be pulled from the Xbox store on the same day.
The Golf Club
In December, HB Studios and 2K Sports revealed these legacy title servers would close on February 28, 2025, discontinuing six online-only achievements. With its delisting from the Xbox store, finding a physical copy is necessary for those hoping to play it now.
The Golf Club 2
Following in its predecessor’s footsteps, The Golf Club 2 will see four online-only achievements disappear come February 28, 2025. Like with the first game, physical copies are your best bet if you don’t already own a digital version.
KartRider: Drift
In August, Nexon announced that KartRider: Drift’s servers will close on February 28, 2025. Out of 28 achievements, 22 will be lost with the shutdown. The game is no longer in the Xbox store, making any new access impossible.
Disco Dodgeball Remix
Rounding up our list is Disco Dodgeball Remix. This game will bid goodbye to its online multiplayer mode on February 28, 2025. Thankfully, there are no online-exclusive achievements to race against, but it’s important to note that once delisted on February 28, 2025, and given its digital-only release, it will be gone forever.
Players should plan accordingly to tackle any remaining challenges these upcoming closures may present.
